All official institutions and state banks in Turkey will be closed for nine days from Saturday 10 to Sunday 18 September, due to the Kurban Bayrami Holiday.
Some ports may be closed between these dates and/or fees for official services (pilotage, towage, mooring, customs) increased by 50%, so it is advisable to check before calling at any Turkish port.
Vessel owners and operators are urged to make their arrangements for crew, spare, provisions, in good time agead of the holiday.
