International flights to resume

09 Mar 2022 / India

India will resume scheduled international flights from 27 March, two years after they were suspended on 23 March 2020 due to the Covid pandemic.

The Government has decided to restart scheduled commercial passenger services to and from India in light of the decline in Covid cases, increased vaccination coverage across the globe and consultation with stakeholders.

The resumption will be subject to strict adherence to health ministry guidelines issued on 10 February.
