International flights halted, travel restrictions

The Kazakh authorities have announced that from tomorrow (1 April), there will be no international flights from either Nur-Sultan or Almaty airports.

Most foreign national are not allowed to enter the country. Further, due to several major cities, including Nur-Sultan and Almaty, being in lock-down due to the coronavirus restrictions, residents of Kazakhstan are currently restricted from travelling within the country.
