The 2025 Hong Kong International Dragon Boat Races (IDBR) will take place off the Tsim Sha Tsui Promenade between 0700 hours and 2000 hours from 7 to 8 June 2025. Over 190 dragon boat teams from local and overseas with 5,000 paddlers will take part in various races at the IDBR.

The race area is bounded by straight lines joining the following coordinates (WGS 84 Datum) from (A) to (C) and the adjacent shoreline:
(A) 22 deg. 17.835’N / 114 deg. 10.934’E
(B) 22 deg. 17.599’N / 114 deg. 10.628’E
(C) 22 deg. 17.651’N / 114 deg. 10.554’E

Mooring buoys will be laid to mark the limit of the race area. Dumb lighters will make fast to these mooring buoys to enclose the race area throughout the event. During the aforementioned periods, no vessels, other than those craft that participating in the IDBR or Government launches, will be allowed to enter or remain within the race area.

Within the race area, two pontoons will be moored at Tsim Sha Tsui Landing No. 2 (KP030) and No. 5 (KP029), which will be closed from 1000 hours on 3 June 2025 to 1200 hours on 9 June 2025; and the Tsim Sha Tsui Landing No. 1 (KP108) will be closed from 0800 hours on 6 June 2025 to 1200 hours on 9 June 2025. Owners and coxswains of vessels are advised to use other landing steps in the vicinity.
