Following positive discussions this morning (20 November) the Port Authority of New South Wales has been notified by the Maritime Union of Australia (MUA) that the pilot cutters protected industrial action scheduled to commence at 1830 today and concluding at 0030 tomorrow (Friday 21 November) has been suspended. Agreement has also been reached with the MUA to meet with the Port Authority of New South Wales to continue negotiations regarding the enterprise agreement next week.
