India announces travel ban on flights from UK

In response to the threat posed by the new variant SARS-CoV-2 virus, the Indian Government has temporarily banned entry of international passengers arriving from the UK. Addendum 5 to DGS Order No. 4 dated 20 March 2020 refers.

A revised Standard Operating Procedure for Epidemiological Surveillance and Response has been issued by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.
