Inbound travel rules stepped up

26 Jan 2022 / Hong Kong

Turks & Caicos has been added to Hong Kong’s Group A list of High Risk countries for risk-based boarding and compulsory quarantine requirements, effective since 0000 hours on 25 January.

Non-Hong Kong residents who have stayed there within 21 days are denied entry.

Hong Kong residents who have stayed there may only board a flight for Hong Kong if they have been fully vaccinated and hold a recognised Convid-19 jab record.

Upon arrival, they must undergo 21 days compulsory quarantine at a designated quarantine hotel, during which six virus tests have to be conducted. On the 26th day after arrival, they must also undergo another compulsory test in a community testing centre.
