The Merchant Shipping (Local Vessels) (General) (Amendment) Regulation 2025 (the “Amendment Regulation”) will come into operation on 1 January 2026.
The Amendment Regulation amends the definition of IMDG Code so as to implement the revisions and amendments that are from time to time made to the International Maritime Dangerous Goods Code by the International Maritime Organization and that are applicable to Hong Kong.
