On the occasion of Prophet Mohamed’s Birthday, Sunday 7 September has been declared an official holiday and Ministries, public authorities and other government departments in Oman will be closed.
All marine movements at Sohar during the holiday period will be on overtime basis. Sohar Port gate passes cannot be issued during holidays.
Advario Terminals LLC and VALE Terminal will be operational as usual, 24/7.
Visa applications can be applied during the holiday period but approval will be subject to attendance of immigration officials. Delays are expected in the issue of visa.
