Impact of flooding on crew changes

Crew members waiting to join or depart vessels at the port and marine terminals in Songkhla province are urged to stay at their hotels due to heavy rains and severe flooding.

The situation is escalating into one of the worst deluges in the region's history, resulting in a full evacuation order for the Hat Yai district.

The port of Songkhla remains open but operations are expected to be at a reduced capacity with low activity. Hat Yai International Airport is still operational. However, transportation from Songkhla City to the airport is suspended due to impassable roads.

GAC is closely monitoring the situation and will make arrangements for crew transportation when conditions improve.
