Hotspot lockdown extended

Punjab’s Chief Secretary has decided to grant deputy commissioners the authority to impose a two-week targeted lockdown in hotspots in seven cities across the province; including Lahore, Faisalabad, Multan, Sialkot and others.

The Balochistan Government has extended smart lockdown till 30 June in view of the increasing number of coronavirus cases.

Four more sectors of the federal capital Islamabad will be under lockdown from tomorrow (Thursday 18 June).

Meanwhile, Gilgit Baltistan has imposed a complete lockdown from today (17 June) until Sunday 21 June. All markets, business centres, and public transports will be closed.
