The UAE Federal Maritime Administration (FMA) has adopted from the date of issuance, the IMO Assembly Resolution A.1156(32) Survey Guidelines Under the Harmonized System of Survey and Certification for Ships (HSSC) 2021, related to the Protocol of 1988 relating to the International Convention for the Safety of Life at Sea, 1974 and of the Protocol of 1988 relating to the International Convention on Load Lines.
All should fully comply with the requirements of Resolution A.1156(32) and its annexes, and provide the FMA upon request with a copy of the procedures and documents required for full compliance with the requirements of the resolution.
