Force Majeure declared

Adani Ports and Logistics has declared a Force Majeure at the port of Gangavaram, due to the current strike which has severely affected cargo handling and other cargo-related services.

According to the Adani Gangavaram Port Limited (AGPL) statement, such services were “forcibly brought to a standstill” from 0600 hours on 12 April, brig the entire port to a standstill.

AGPL will not be responsible during the period the Force Majeure continues for any vessel demurrages or other consequential losses, including but not limited to pre-berthing delay and discharge rate guarantee(s) for vessels working on berth, awaiting berthing or planned to be handled at the port.
