All official institutions and banks in Turkey will be closed from Wednesday 30 August to Tuesday 5 September, due to a a six-day holiday.
Vessel owners and operators are urged to make all arrangements for crew, spares, provisions, etc in good time ahead of the holiday.
Some ports may be closed duringthe holiday and/or fees for official services (pilotage, towage, mooring, customs) be increased by 50%. Owners/operators should therefore check in advance before calling at any Turkish Port.
GAC Turkey will be on duty during the holiday.
