Extended quarantine requirements

Following the latest updates from the World Health Organization (WHO), and the decision by the UAE government to suspend arrivals from a number of countries in southern Africa, ADNOC [Abu Dhabi National Oil company] Group will require an extended quarantine of 20 days for any passenger who has arrived or has transited through:

  • South Africa
  • Namibia
  • Lesotho
  • Eswatini
  • Zimbabwe
  • Botswana
  • Mozambique

This requirement is effective immediately.

Any direct hire or contractor who has arrived or transited through the above countries in the last 7 days must complete the required 20 day quarantine from the day of their arrival in to the UAE. This is applicable to all ADNOC premises including ADNOC sites and offices and applies to all personnel regardless of vaccination status (fully or unvaccinated).

This requirement is mandatory.

ADNOC Group contactor companies must ensure that their staff follow all ADNOC Group policies and procedures, including HSE requirements relating to COVID-19.
