Establishment of Restricted Area for aviation exercise

From 1000 to 1400 hours on 12 January, a Restricted Area will be established off Mong Tung Wan for conducting an exercise led by the Civil Aviation Department.

The Restricted Area is formed by straight lines joining the following co-ordinates (WGS 84 Datum) from (A) to (E) and the adjacent shoreline:
(A) 22 deg. 13.485’N / 113 deg. 58.980’E
(B) 22 deg. 13.000’N / 113 deg. 58.580’E
(C) 22 deg. 13.000’N / 113 deg. 57.830’E
(D) 22 deg. 13.700’N / 113 deg. 57.830’E
(E) 22 deg. 13.700’N / 113 deg. 58.670’E

Launches of the Marine Department will patrol or be stationed in the vicinity of the Restricted Area.

During the aforementioned period, no vessels, other than Government launches and exercise participants, will be allowed to enter or remain within the Restricted Area. Masters, coxswains and persons-in-charge of all vessels navigating in the vicinity should keep away from the Restricted Area.

In the event of inclement weather or emergency, the fallback date of the exercise would be 19 January 2026.
