Establishment of a Restricted Area and closure of Landing Steps off the Wan Chai Basin

A restricted area will be established on 10 and 11 May 2024 from 1800 to 2230 hours, in Victoria Harbour, off the Wanchai Basin to facilitate a drone performance conducted by the Hong Kong Tourism Board.

The restricted area is bounded by straight lines joining the following co-ordinates (WGS 84 Datum) from (A) to(D):
(A) 22° 16.993’N 114° 10.679’E
(B) 22° 17.156’N 114° 10.656’E
(C) 22° 17.181’N 114° 10.825’E
(D) 22° 17.059’N 114° 10.849’E

During the aforementioned periods, no vessels, other than Government launches, will be allowed to enter or remain within the Restricted Area. Besides, the public landing steps within the Restricted Area will be closed to all vessels, except Government launches engaged in official duties or vessels with the permission from the Director of Marine.

In the event of inclement weather or emergency, the fallback date would be 12 May 2024.
