Erection of flotsam jetty

The working period for the erection of a flotsam jetty and other ancillaries east of Singapore Causeway has been extended. The work is now being conducted until 30 June.

The Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore Port Marine Notice No.175 Of 2025 states that the work is being carried out 24 hours daily - including Sundays & Public Holidays - at sea, within the working area bounded by the following coordinates:
1) 01°27.015’N / 103°46.407’E
2) 01°27·058'N / 103°46·507'E
3) 01°27·100'N / 103°46·481'E
4) 01°27·042'N / 103°46.390'E

Work involves construction of a new flotsam jetty to replace existing flotsam jetty located within the reclamation area.

The existing jetty will be demolished once the new one is completed.

Craft involved in the works exhibit the appropriate local and international day and night signals.

When in the vicinity of the working area, mariners are reminded to:
a) Keep well clear and not to enter the working area;
b) Maintain a proper lookout;
c) Proceed at a safe speed and navigate with caution;
d) Maintain a listening watch on VHF Channel 21 (Sembawang Control); and communicate with Sembawang Control for assistance, if required.
