Entry of non-nationals suspended

18 May 2021 / Taiwan

Taiwan’s Central Epidemic Command Centre announced yesterday (17 May) that entry of non-nationals without valid residence permits is suspended.

This applies to non-nationals who currently do not hold a valid residence permit (including a residence visa), except for special permission for temporary postponement of entry, emergency or humanitarian considerations. Passengers are also suspended from transiting to Taiwan.

These measures will be implemented until June 18 and will be adjusted in a timely manner based on the epidemic situation.
