28 Jul 2025 / Gore Cove (Sydney Harbour), Australia
Tanker vessels berthing at Gore Cove with a draft of 10.5 meters or more will be subject to the dynamic under keel clearance (DUKC) system effective 1 September 2025.
The DUKC assessment will be the determining factor for berthing approval. In such cases, the static UKC requirements will not apply.
This operational requirement has been incorporated into the recently revised Harbour Master Directions, which has been published and is now available for reference from the Port Authority website.
