Dredging off Lim Chu Kang Police Coast Guard Base

From 11 December 2018 to 16 April 2019, dredging work will be carried out off Lim Chu Kang PCG’s jetty.

According to the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore Port Marine Notice No.123 of 2018 dated 10 December 2018, the works will be conducted 24 hours daily - including Sundays & Public Holidays - at the following co-ordinates (WGS 84 Datum):
1) 1 deg. 26.809’N / 103 deg. 42.435’E
2) 1 deg. 26.775’N / 103 deg. 42.442’E
3) 1 deg. 26.764’N / 103 deg. 42.388’E
4) 1 deg. 26.777’N / 103 deg. 42.386’E
5) 1 deg. 26.780’N / 103 deg. 42.397’E
6) 1 deg. 26.790’N / 103 deg. 42.395’E
7) 1 deg. 26.795’N / 103 deg. 42.420’E
8) 1 deg. 26.806’N / 103 deg. 42.418’E

Dredging works will be carried out by a dredger, supported by barges and tugs. Safety boats will be deployed to warn other craft in the vicinity of the working area.

Craft involved in the works will exhibit the appropriate local and international day signals.

When in the vicinity of the working area, mariners are reminded to:
a) Keep well clear and not to enter the working area;
b) Maintain a proper lookout;
c) Proceed at a safe speed and navigate with caution;
d) Maintain a listening watch on VHF Channel 22 (Jurong Control);
and
e) Communicate with Jurong Control on VHF Channel 22 for assistance, if required.
