The Kwai Tsing Container Basin (KTCB), namely the area bounded by straight lines joining the following co-ordinates (WGS 84 Datum), has been substantially dredged to a water depth of 17 metres below Chart Datum:
(A) 22° 20.893’ N / 114° 07.176’ E
(B) 22° 19.682’ N / 114° 07.586’ E
(C) 22° 19.369’ N / 114° 07.260’ E
(D) 22° 19.652’ N / 114° 06.904’ E
(E) 22° 19.852’ N / 114° 07.086’ E
(F) 22° 20.776’ N / 114° 06.773’ E
Owners, operators, masters and person-in-charge of vessels are advised to refer to the latest edition of Hong Kong Chart HK0803 and Charts for Local Vessels, or Electronic Navigational Chart, for the updated water depths in the KTCB, particularly for safety of navigation.
