Dragon Boat Race off Tsim Sha Tsui Promenade

The 2026 Hong Kong International Dragon Boat Races (IDBR) will take place off the Tsim Sha Tsui Promenade between 07:00 hours and 20:00 hours from June 27–28, 2026.

The race area will be bounded by straight lines joining the following co-ordinates (WGS 84 Datum) from (A) to (C) and the adjacent shoreline:

(A) Latitude 22〫17.835’N | Longitude 114〫10.934’E

(B) Latitude 22〫17.599’N | Longitude 114〫10.628’E

(C) Latitude 22〫17.651’N | Longitude 114〫10.554’E

Mooring buoys will be laid to mark the limits of the race area. Dumb lighters will fastened to the mooring buoys to enclose the race area throughout the event. During this period, no vessels, other than craft participating in the IDBR or government launches, will be allowed to enter or remain within the race area.

Within the race area, two pontoons will be moored at Tsim Sha Tsui Landing No. 2 (KP030) and No. 5 (KP029), which will be closed from 10:00 on June 23, 2026, to 12:00 on June 29, 2026. Tsim Sha Tsui Landing No. 1 (KP108) will be closed from 08:00 on June 26, 2026, to 12:00 on June 29, 2026. Owners and coxswains of vessels are advised to use other landing steps in the vicinity.
