A dragon boat race will take place at Chai Wan Cargo Handling Basin from 0800 to 1600 hours on 25 September 2022 (Sunday) to celebrate the 25th Anniversary of the establishment of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. About 75 dragon boats are expected to participate in the race.
The organizer will commence setting up the event at Chai Wan Cargo Handling Basin at 1200 hours on 24 September 2022. Coxswains and persons[1]in-charge of vessels navigating in the vicinity shall proceed with caution and give practical consideration to the contestants. Compliance with the provisions of the International Regulations for Preventing Collisions at Sea, 1972, is mandatory.
