There is currently a serious outbreak of dengue fever and chikungunya viruses in Aden and other areas of Yemen, with a rise in the number of deaths resulting from the pandemic.
Ship’s crew are advised not to expose themselves to mosquito bites in order to avoid infection. High standard medical services are not available locally.
