Design and build of off-loading quay

The working period for the design and build of an off-loading quay at Seraya, Jurong Island, has been extended. The work will now continue until 8 October.

According to the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore Port Marine Notice No.28 of 2024, the work is being conducted 24 hours daily – including Sundays and Public Holidays - within the working area bounded by the following co-ordinates (WGS 84 Datum):
1) 01° 16.178'N / 103° 44.025'E
2) 01° 16.122'N / 103° 44.061'E
3) 01° 16.148'N / 103° 44.115’E
4) 01° 16.207'N / 103° 44.088’E

Craft involved in the works exhibit the appropriate local and international day and night signals (barges will be lit at night).

All barges will require a safe working zone of 30 meters radius centered at the barges. Shifting of barges will be assisted with 2 tugboats.

A safety boat will be deployed to warn other craft in the vicinity of the working area.

When in the vicinity of the working area, mariners are reminded to:
a) Keep well clear and not to enter the working area;
b) Maintain a proper lookout;
c) Proceed at a safe speed and navigate with caution;
d) Maintain a listening watch on VHF Channel 68 (Sinki Control);
and
e) Communicate with Sinki Control on VHF Channel 68 for assistance, if required.
