Deployment of hydrographic equipment at Tuas View Extension

The working period for the deployment Deployment of hydrographic equipment at Tuas View Extension has been extended, and the work will now be conducted between 1 January and 30 June 2026.

According to the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore Port Marine Notice No.166 of 2025, the work will be carried out during daylight hours (0800-1800 hours local time) - including Sundays & public holidays – off Tuas View Extension, at points indicated by the following coordinates (WGS 84 Datum):

ADCP1C) 01°13.246’N / 103°36.327'E

The deployment of hydrographic equipment will be carried out by divers deployed from the work boats. The hydrographic equipment will be anchored to the seabed using weights and angle bars. A safety boat will be deployed to warn other craft in the vicinity of the working area.

Craft involved in the works will exhibit the appropriate local and international day and night signals.

When in the vicinity of the working area, mariners are reminded to:

a) Keep well clear and not to enter the working area;

b) Maintain a proper lookout;

c) Proceed at a safe speed and navigate with caution;

d) Maintain a listening watch on VHF Channel 22 (Jurong Control); and communicate with Jurong Control for assistance, if required.
