Deployment of hydrographic equipment at Tuas View Extension

Work to deploy hydrographic equipment at Tuas View Extension is being carried out until 31 December.

According to the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore Port Marine Notice No.105 of 2025, the works are being conducted between 0800 and 1800 hours daily - including Sundays and public holidays - at points indicated by the following co-ordinates: 01 deg. 13.246’N / 103 deg.36.327’E.

The deployment of hydrographic equipment will be carried out by divers deployed from the work boats. The hydrographic equipment will be anchored to the seabed using weights and angle bars.

A safety boat will be deployed to warn other craft in the vicinity of the working area.

Craft involved in the works will exhibit the appropriate local and international day and night signals.

When in the vicinity of the working area, mariners are reminded to:
a) Keep well clear and not to enter the working area;
b) Maintain a proper lookout;
c) Proceed at a safe speed and navigate with caution;
d) Maintain a listening watch on VHF Channel 22 (Jurong Control); and communicate with Jurong Control for assistance, if required.
