Deployment and servicing of ADCP and buoy

From May 13 to November 12, 2026, an acoustic doppler current profiler (ADCP) used to measure water current velocities will be deployed and serviced.

The work will be conducted at sea in the vicinity of Tuas View Extension, during daylight hours (08:00-18:00 hours), at the following co-ordinates:

DHI-TVE ADCP
01° 12.810’N / 103° 39.080’E

Diving operations will be carried out for the ADCP instrument deployment, monthly maintenance and instrument retrieval. The survey vessel will remain at site throughout the entire process for approximately 2-4 hours.

Craft involved in the work will exhibit the appropriate local and international day and night signals.

When in the vicinity of the working area, mariners are reminded to:
a) Keep well clear and not to enter the working area;
b) Maintain a proper lookout;
c) Proceed at a safe speed and navigate with caution;
d) Maintain a listening watch on VHF Channel 22 (Jurong Control);
