Department shutdown for Christmas/New Year

The Shipping Business Unit of Australia’s Department of Infrastructure, Transport, Cities and Regional Development will be closed from Wednesday 25 December 2019 and Wednesday 1 January 2020, inclusive, reopening for business on Thursday 2 January 2020. No applications will be processed during this shutdown period.

All applications submitted by the following dates will be considered in 2019:

  • New temporary licences submitted before 3:00pm AEDT Tuesday 03 December 2019;
  • Variation to add new matters submitted before 3:00pm AEDT Friday 13 December 2019;
  • Variation to authorised matters submitted no later than Friday 20 December 2019.

Applications for any expected voyages during the shutdown period should be submitted in advance.
