Work to demolish the existing premises and reinstate the shoreline at 23 Shipyard Rd will be carried out from 12 November to 12 January 2026.
According to the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore Port Marine Notice No.150 of 2025, the work will be carried out 24 hours daily - including Sundays and public holidays - at sea within the working area bounded by the following coordinates (WGS 84 Datum):
1) 01°18.375'N / 103°41.634'E
2) 01°18.369'N / 103°41.650'E
3) 01°18.240'N / 103°41.639'E
4) 01°18.346'N / 103°41.623'E
The work involves the delivery of armour rocks, construction of the shoreline profile and laying of the shore protection.
Safety boats will be deployed to warn other crafts in the vicinity of the working area.
Craft involved in the works will exhibit the appropriate local and international day and night signals.
When in the vicinity of the working area, mariners are reminded to:
a) Keep well clear and not to enter the working area;
b) Maintain a proper lookout;
c) Proceed at a safe speed and navigate with caution;
d) Maintain a listening watch on VHF Channel 22 (Jurong Control); and communicate with Jurong Control for assistance if required.
