Turkey’s Prime Minister has declared that daily life in the country is back to normal with all offices operating as normal, following the attempted coup on Friday/Saturday.
Traffic for transit vessels is also back to normal. Masters of your vessels trading in the Turkish Straits and Marmara Sea should report to VTS as advised on transit procedure (SP1 and SP2) and wait for their transit turn.
Istanbul Ataturk International Airport is back to normal, with some delays. Please contact GAC Turkey before sending crew to Turkey in order to check and confirm any delays. The clearance of the spare parts may also be sligthly delayed.
