** 28 November 2025 **
Warning Bulletin No.7 has been issued for Tamil Nadu Ports related to Cyclonic Storm “Ditwah”, currently over coastal Sri Lanka and the adjoining southwest Bay of Bengal.
Ditwah has moved north–northwestwards and, as of 0530 hours local time today (28 November), is near latitude 8.2°N and longitude 81.1°E. The system is very likely to continue moving north–northwestwards across the Sri Lankan coast and adjoining southwest Bay of Bengal, reaching the area near North Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and south Andhra Pradesh coasts by the early morning of 30 November.
Karaikal Port is on high alert due to its proximity to the projected path of the weather system. However, cargo operations are currently continuing without suspension.
