Crew changes during Canal transit

The Egyptian Authorities and Ministry of Health are permitting crew changes during vessels’ transit through the Suez Canal based on the following procedures and restrictions:

  • Available arrival / departure tickets (confirm e-ticket) with international airlines.

  • Joiners (arrivals) will be isolated and quarantined for seven days at accredited hotel prior to embarkation.

  • After getting Egyptian quarantine approval, off-signers’ disembarkation will be restricted to those holding firm departure ticket with direct transportation to airport without accommodation. If off-signers’ departure flight is not available on the same date as disembarkation, approval from the Health Ministry will be duly required.

  • Ministry of Health approval should be obtained 72 hours prior to disembarkation.
