COVID-19 Update: Indonesia

Indonesia’s Unity of Tasks to Handling COVID-19 issued a Circular Addendum on 23rd December 2020 whereas a new variant of SARS-CoV-2 has been found in South Wales, England, namely SARS-CoV-2 VUI 202012/01.

As previously advised, foreigners who arrive in Indonesia starting from 31 December 2020 must undergo an RT PCR test before and upon arrival. The PCR validity is a must for 2 x 24hours until 3 x 24hours from issuance.

As informed by immigration PIC, foreigners holding passports of UK, Australia, Italy and Denmark are currently unable to apply for Indonesian visa and aircraft flying from England are prohibited from entering Indonesia.
