COVID-19 measures

In light of the COVID-19 pandemic , the Curacao Government has imposed measures which include the prohibition of maritime traffic entering the country, with exceptions for large commercial shipping (cargo ships) arriving with cargo, requesting bunkers or seeking repairs.

Further, Curacao Ports Authority has imposed additional restrictions via ships agents for all incoming vessels. The following changes include:

  • No visitors are allowed to any of our locations without prior appointment
  • Cashiers are closed, and only online payments will be accepted
  • New temporary procedures have been implemented for payments and handling of requests
  • All navigational classes and exams are suspended until further notice
