Effective 26 June 2019, at 10.00 am, local, the maximum recommended freshwater draft for SWP will be 42’.
Federal Pilots
Due to the latest ACOE soundings, deteriorating conditions and lack of awardable hopper dredge contracts; the Federal Pilots of Louisiana recommend a maximum freshwater draft of 42’ for transit between Southwest Pass Seabuoy and Venice effective immediately.
