From 5 September 2018 to 28 February 2019, quay wall construction works will be carried out off Tuas Mega Yard.
According to the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore Port Marine Notice No.086 of 2018 dated 24 August 2018, the works will be conducted between 0700 and 1900 hours daily - including Sundays & Public Holidays - within the working area bounded by the following coordinates (WGS 84 Datum):
1) 01 deg. 15·880'N / 103 deg. 36·555'E
2) 01 deg. 15·880'N / 103 deg. 36·592'E
3) 01 deg. 15·668'N / 103 deg. 36·592'E
4) 01 deg. 15·668'N / 103 deg. 36·555'E
The construction of the quay wall involves concrete and piling works.
Harbour craft will not be deployed for the works.
When in the vicinity of the working area, mariners are reminded to:
a) Keep well clear and not to enter the working area;
b) Maintain a proper lookout;
c) Proceed at a safe speed and navigate with caution;
d) Maintain a listening watch on VHF Channel 22 (Jurong Control);
and
e) Communicate with Jurong Control on VHF Channel 22 for assistance, if required.
