A bulk carrier vessel, MV Dorric Warrior, and an oil tanker, MT Adriatic Mariner, collided while manoeuvring inside of the south anchorage of Bosphorus yesterday (13 August 2019) at local time 22:25 hours.
After the accident, Istanbul VTS sent their patrol boats to the incident place named Kurtarma-3 & Kurtarma 4. There was no report of any loss of life and property or sea pollution according to the initial inspection from the related authority.
Vessel traffic at Bosphorus has not been affected due to this collision and remains opened.
