Coal loader damaged

On the evening of Sunday 13 November, the shiploader at the Queensland Bulk Handling coal terminal in Brisbane was damaged due to extreme weather.

The loader is currently inoperable. A preliminary assessment of the damaged indicated that it could take several weeks for it to be repaired.

As a result, during this time, the terminal will not be able to load coal onto ships.
