Clearing of seabed for proposed waterfront development

The working period for seabed clearing as part of Resorts World Sentosa development has been extended. The work will now be conducted between June 9 and December 8, 2026.

According to the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore Port Marine Notice No.66 of 2026, the work will be carried out 24 hours – including Sundays & Public Holidays - at sea, within the working area bounded by the following co-ordinates (WGS 84 Datum):
1) 01° 15·553'N / 103° 49·206'E
2) 01° 15·585'N / 103° 49·323'E
3) 01° 15·585'N / 103° 49·394'E

The work will clear debris and armoured rocks for the preparation of marine piles installation works, the retrieval of which will be carried out using work barges with lifting crane or excavators.

A safety tug will be in attendance at all times to warn and re-direct craft in the vicinity to keep clear of working area.

Craft involved in the works will exhibit the appropriate local and international day and night signals.

When in the vicinity of the working area, mariners are reminded to:
a) Keep well clear and not enter the working area;
b) Maintain a proper lookout;
c) Proceed at a safe speed and navigate with caution;
d) Maintain a listening watch on VHF Channel 05 (Cruise Bay Control);
and
e) Communicate with Cruise Bay control for assistance, if required.
