Based on updated soundings provided by the Port of Houston for the City Dock area, Houston Pilots is imposing the following draft restrictions for ships going in and out of the City Docks.
Effective immediately, all vessels transiting above City Dock 21 are limited to a draft of 34’ freshwater.
As dredging and surveying progresses in the City Dock area, this restriction will be modified or removed as soon as safely possible.
