A Christmas Boat Light Parade will take place in Cruise Bay between 1945 and 2130 hours local time on 17 November.
According to the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore Port Marine Notice No.113 of 2019 dated 15 November 2019, the parade will follow a designated route with the following way-points:
1) 01 deg. 15.649’N / 103 deg. 48.397’E
2) 01 deg. 15.649’N / 103 deg. 49.172’E
3) 01 deg. 15.555’N / 103 deg. 49.339’E
4) 01 deg. 15.709’N / 103 deg. 49.339’E
5) 01 deg. 15.680’N / 103 deg. 49.200’E
6) 01 deg. 15.680’N / 103 deg. 48.397’E
The craft will exhibit the appropriate local and international night signals.
During the parade, the craft will be moving at a maximum speed of 6 knots and sail boats will operate under power along the designated route. Safety boats will be deployed to warn other craft and vessels of the boat parade.
When inside Cruise Bay, mariners are reminded to:
a) Maintain a proper lookout;
b) Proceed at a safe speed and to navigate with caution;
c) Maintain a listening watch on VHF Channel 05 (Cruise Bay Control);
and
d) Communicate with Cruise Bay Control on VHF Channel 05 for assistance, if required.
