Channels at several USA ports have been closed due to fog this morning (1 February).
HOUSTON, GALVESTON, TEXAS CITY
The Houston Pilot Office advise ship traffic was halted at 2030 hours due to dense fog. Texas City Pilot Office advise ship traffic stopped at 2215 hours, also due to dense fog.
BEAUMONT - PORT ARTHUR
Sabine River Pilot Office ship traffic was stopped at 2126 hours due to dense fog.
CORPUS CHRISTI
Harbor Masters Office advises ship traffic was stopped at 2035 hours due to dense fog. Expected to resume at 0930 hours.
MOBILE
Due to restricted visibility, the Mobile Bar Pilots have temporarily suspended operations.
PASCAGOULA
All vessel traffic at Pascagoula was put on hold this morning, due to fog.
