Changes to crew onboarding requirements for vessels arriving at port of Singapore

30 Dec 2021 / Singapore

According to the Maritime & Port Authority of Singapore's Port Marine Circular 45 of 2021, all shore-based personnel who are required to board vessels must be fully vaccinated and comply with the conditions listed in Port Marine Circular 40 of 2021. Additionally, the shore-based personnel who had boarded vessels arriving within 14 days from Mozambique, Namibia, South Africa, Ghana, and Nigeria must carry out three PCR tests after disembarking the vessel immediately upon disembarking the vessel, on Day 3 and Day 7. Non-fully vaccinated individuals (other than recovered individuals or medically ineligible individuals) will not be allowed to board any vessels in the port.

Vessels entering shipyards under the Ship Repair Framework must comply with the Economic Development Board and Enterprise Singapore’s Heightened Mandatory Precautionary Measures.
