The Australian Government has announced that the Fuel Tax has risen from 38.600 cents per litre to 38.900 cpl with effect from 1 February 2015. The rate payable for Bunker Excise on coastal bunkers consumed is 38.900 cpl, with the Excise Rebate remaining at 100% - due to the removal of the Carbon Tax from 1 July 2014. Indexation of fuel duty has returned to a biannual CPI Indexation from 1 February 2015 and again from 1 August 2015.
