Twin-engined RoRo vessels with LOA up to 222M and a total push power of over 2000KW at bow & stern must use a total of 4 tugs for berthing and unberthing (2 in/2 out) at Turkish ports, instead of the previous compulsory requirement of 6 (3 in/3 out). This is in line with a new regulation now in force at all Turkish ports. Some private terminals, however, may apply a different approach.
