In order to avoid any corrosion of metal surface and sensitive crane components in the humid and saline atmosphere, which will result in reduction in efficiency and their useful life and also delay the commissioning of Container Terminal, it has been decided to avoid handling of coal at [Kandla's] Berths No.11 & 12 with immediate effect.
