A general cargo vessel ran aground at the northern enterance to the Bosphorus and heeled 20 degree starboardside at 10:00 hours local time.
Coastal Safety is attempting to evacuate the vessel’s personnel. The salvage tug “Nene Hatun” and Turkish Naval Forces are on their way to the area for the search and rescue operation.
