Ships of 125m length or more and/or draft greater than 6.5m are currently facing a wait of about six hours prior to entering Kiel-Canal at Kiel-Holtenau.
However, as the New South Lock Chamber at Holtenau will be back in service from tomorrow morning (10 September), it is expected that the waiting times will be reduced shortly.
